About the Client: Our client is a renowned hotel nestled in the heart of Zante. With its breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and personalized service, the hotel offers guests an unforgettable experience in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.

Job Overview: The Human Resources Coordinator will oversee all aspects of human resources management within the hotels, ensuring compliance and policy implemntation, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the professional development of our staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection:
    • Lead the recruitment process for key hotel positions, including managerial roles and specialized positions.
    • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
    • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires and oversee orientation sessions.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
    • Handle employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions as needed.
    • Promote a positive work culture and resolve conflicts in a fair and respectful manner.
  • HR Administration:
    • Oversee the maintenance of employee records and HR databases.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies in all HR practices.
    • Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR administrative tasks.
  • Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
    • Identify opportunities for employee recognition and reward programs.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and enforce hotel policies related to employee conduct and performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
